Although many may associate Arizona with a desert, it is a land rich with diverse vistas. This image captures two of Arizona’s wondrous glories. The two opposite domains are both equally radiant from sunlight and vibrant with color, yet each offers a different world to appreciate. The sky, smooth and sleek with atmospheric movement, glows with cobalt, fuchsia and lemon hues. Conversely, the roughness of the land, brought on by the sand, rocks, brush and interposing fence, exhibits warm earth-tones. The sky seems boundless by time and space. It gives the impression of stretching upward to the heavens without limit. The earth, on the other hand, is finite. It unabashedly hides nothing, and willingly exists in the here and now. Both worlds stretch onward toward the horizon coming closer together until, in the distance, they join.
